Born from a city with a known history of gritty, honest rock/punk music, Hamilton’s APRIL are recreating the artwork to perfection, unleashing a new brand of audio assault to an ever-growing fan base. Originally the brainchild of (bassist) Eric Meloche, who had a clear vision of what he wanted to achieve and how to go about it. Job one was writing the music, which flowed from Meloche like lava. He first recruited like-minded, long-time friend and drummer PJ Reynolds, the two having previously found their rhythmic groove on a prior project, and through countless Hamilton stages. Reynolds skill and aggression behind the kit was a perfect fit for setting the heavy foundation. Read more about the becoming of April on their Reverbnation link.

Delivering power and nuance in equal measure, Welland, Ontario’s Breaking Still offers a fresh hard rock sound, with a turn-of-the-century alternative sensibility. After having spent a small handful of years playing local shows and events, including the Niagara Music Awards in 2019, the quintet fronted by founder and vocalist Jus-tin Deschamps, have solidified their lineup and a strong local following. Unified by a love of eclectic influences spanning generations, and a firm belief in music as a vessel for positive change, the group’s lineup is filled out by bassist, Nic Nello, gui-tarists, Rob Lock & Cat Jones, and drummer, Chris Boboros. A tight live band with as much an emphasis on ear-catching melodies as there is energy and drive, the five-piece offers a strong variety of original tunes in their set, a handful of which have been recorded for their debut studio effort, including the musically and emotionally churning lead single “No Place”. Breaking Still’s music has been described as pervasive, as the subjects of mental health and addiction, handled with surprisingly potent and engaging delicacy through Deschamps’ lyrics, can be felt to one's core. The frontman notes the importance to both himself personally, as well as at large, to continue shedding light on these often hidden topics, and again, inspire positivity, through the expression of perseverance. The band strives to exemplify their message outside of music, having participated in multiple charitable efforts throughout their community. Altogether, Breaking Still is a modern hard rock powerhouse with an engaging live show, honest and clever lyricism, and a wonderfully healthy helping of hooks, riffs, melodies, and moshable moments woven throughout their repertoire.

Welland Wasted is a powerhouse , powder keg, of complete and total musical destruction. Even if you like us you can easily find a way to hate us. we are that dynamic. Welland Wasted is not for the faint of heart or easily triggered type, but more for the seasoned , grizzled street fighter type. A band that delivers punch in the head music for punch in the head people. Not just punch in the head, a full beat down from ten prison inmates over some jailhouse mashed potatoes. W.W. will not sugar coat back down or roll over for mainstream. If you are a big record label you can fuk off, unless you have deep pockets and big dollars. we are ghetto rich, wasted and famous already. Welland Wasted “ most of today's music is to pretty, and cute, with cookie cutter shit” We play with the hardest, starving, blood thirsty killers in the music scene. We don’t make music for fortune and fame , we make music to fight too. We are so encrusted with awards, we win awards for winning the most awards. a band so against commercialism that we signed a sponsorship deal with Nike and Starbucks instead of Reebok and Tim Hortons. “our private jet runs on premium jet fuel, tears of our loved ones and prayers. Our influences are anything and everything. But first and foremost drugs and alcohol. We have a following of hardcore dedicated fans who pay thousands of dollars to come see us play. We have excellent critiques from the greatest of critics, and still we don’t give a shit. live fast and die!.

Chaos Above Glory

Chaos Above Glory is a Hard Rock band hailing from Ontario’s Niagara Region.

This band has managed to make a mark with a distinctive sound. The band’s music is a blend of various influences, channeling the energy of heavy rock with a unique twist.

The group’s most recent studio effort, Planet Divide , stands out as a really fantastic example of their artistry and flow, giving the audience a strong sense of natural character and edgy musicianship that feels spontaneous and natural, yet balanced and creatively thoughtful.

Fans of artists such as Killswitch Engage, TOOL, System Of  A Down, A Shamisen Orchestra, Staind and Audioslave are most definitely going to enjoy this band not only because of how their music plays out and unfolds, but also because of how the entirety of their arrangements feel so relatable and well-produced.

The band’s latest single Planet Divide is a really impressive calling card for a band with something to say.
